Oceanside Wedding Vibes
A stunning wedding by the ocean!
Out here in British Columbia we are extremely lucky to live in one of the most beautiful places in the world, especially if you live on the island. We love when couples use the local scenery to their advantage, it makes for such a stunning day and lovely photography! This couple had a gorgeous oceanside wedding we just love the look of! It took place at a childhood home not too far off from the ocean, and talk about an incredible location. The bride wanted to blend a boho Palm Springs vibe with West Coast inspiration to give them the perfect oceanside wedding vibes. It looked beautiful all put together!
Ceremony
For the ceremony the couple had a gorgeous wooden hexagon at the altar which we were able to add some stunning arrangements on the sides of as well as in front. Sticking to the bride's request of boho palm springs and west coast, we used protea, roses, palm, gold touches, and fern to blend the two styles together. This blend gives the very natural and warm boho palm springs vibes while also adding in the lush greenery of the west coast. We used this blend throughout all the pieces of the wedding to make sure it was the perfect oceanside wedding vibe the bride requested. For the ceremony we were also able to create some beautiful larger arrangements in the same sort of style to line the aisle. This look still draws your eyes to the altar however makes sure it does not look like any part was forgotten, which in a wedding with this much detail is a must!
Bridal Bouquet & Boutonnières
As we mentioned this wedding was big on details and the perfect finishing touches, and we wanted to make sure not to forget a single one! The groom is a geologist and to make sure that was seen throughout the florals, we added crystals into both the boutonnières as well as the bridal bouquet. We think this was such a meaningful personal touch to add into both, and it really added an extra detail to the arrangements! The bridal bouquet itself was a large luxurious arrangement of fresh blooms and greenery. It really pulled the boho vibe by adding volume with some longer greenery and mixed together the colours and vibes of palm springs as well as the west coast!
This wedding was so beautiful and we loved the oceanside wedding vibes! We loved the couples attention to detail, being able to have so many meaningful small details makes our job even more fun! This wedding was a perfect summer wedding that used its location to their advantage!
